Beaches and the coast

It takes no more than half an hour to reach the South coast from Bell Cottage with long sandy beaches that can be enjoyed in uncrowded beauty at sea level, or from the spectacular heights of the Coastal Footpath. Historic fishing villages are charming to wander round and offer unique shopping opportunities and refreshments from characterful pubs, luxury local icecreams and traditional cream teas.

The dramatic scenery of the wilder North coast takes only a little longer to reach and again this can be enjoyed from the unspoilt Coastal Path or by exploring the exciting history of maritime villages like Boscastle, Tintagel or Port Isaac.

Surfing is at its National best along the Cornish coast, but gentler boat trips show a different view of the coast.
